As the Hello card is a reloadable Visa* prepaid card, we are required by law to have Anti Money Laundering and Terrorism Financing policies and procedures. As such the Financial Transactions and Reports Analysis Center of Canada (FINTRAC) have created guidelines that we must follow which requires us to verify your identity.
We must collect from you the following pieces of information: 

-Full legal name
-Canadian physical address
-Date of birth
-Occupation
-Phone number
-Email address

The information you provide us must be accurate, truthful and current. This information will allow us to confirm your identity and to send your Hello card by mail to the address provided.
